Dr. Tristan Barrett

Dr. Tristan Barrett is Associate Professor in Radiology and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, University of Cambridge. He has previously completed fellowships in molecular imaging at National Institutes for Health (USA), and in abdominal imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (New York, USA), and at the University of Toronto (Canada).

He is the Clinical lead for urogenital radiology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and the imaging lead for East Anglia cancer alliance.

He is the lead author of 3 educational books, has written several book chapters and has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers, with a personal H-index of 40 and over 6,000 citations of his work. He is a reviewer for a number of prestigious journals including ‘Radiology’. His research interests centre on novel MRI techniques for identifying and characterising prostate tumours.
