Dr. Smeer Aggarwal

Dr. Smeer Aggarwal is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist with comprehensive expertise in all aspects of diagnostic musculoskeletal and sports imaging, including rheumatological, orthopaedic and spine conditions. He performs a range of image-guided procedures(CT, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopic(x-ray)) for treatment of musculoskeletal and sports conditions. He works with multiple sports clubs, mainly within the East Midlands.

He completed specialty training in Clinical Radiology on the East Midlands north rotation, sub-specialising in Musculoskeletal Radiology. He was appointed as a consultant in 2019, based at the Royal Derby Hospital. He has a strong interest in teaching and education and is currently College Tutor for clinical radiology at the Trust, as well as Associate Clinical Director for MRI. He is a member of several radiological societies. He has multiple peer reviewed publications.
