Dr. Ivana Pogledic

Dr. Ivana Pogledic holds an MD and PhD in neuroscience, along with the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) and the European Diploma in Neuroradiology (EDiNR) and holds medical licences as consultant radiologist in Ireland, Austria and Croatia. From April 2014 to May 2024, she worked at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy, AKH Hospital, Medical University of Vienna, Austria. She has been an Austrian board-certified radiologist since February 2018.

Before this, she served in the Neuroradiology Department at Saarland University Clinic in Germany between June 2011 and March 2014. Her academic path included conducting research and teaching at the Croatian Institute for Brain Research, Medical School University of Zagreb, in Croatia and Hôpital Robert Debré, University Paris VII in Paris, France from 2006 to 2011, where she completed her PhD.

Currently, she operates her own private practice in radiology and teleradiology in Vienna, Austria and is a Clinical Research Affiliate at Clinical Neuroplasticity Laboratory (CNL), Yale School of Medicine, Yale University, from March 2025. Her latest article is featured in Brain Journal: "Prenatal assessment of brain malformations on neuroimaging: an expert panel review."

Additionally, she co-authored a review published in Nature Reviews Neurology titled "International consensus recommendations on the diagnostic work-up for malformations of cortical development."
